Welcome to the Risedale Group of Homes

Risedale Homes offer the highest standards of comfort, care, professional nursing and medical support. An experienced, professional and caring management administers the Risedale Group, working within a structure that ensures responsibility, accountability and assurance of quality of service.

The Management Team has selected homes to be part of the local community and within easy reach of the services of a town. It has planned them to exceptionally high standards and invested substantially in adapting suitable properties to their purpose, fitted with the best furnishing and nursing equipment available. We have applied the highest standards of comfort, safety and security to each home.

We are committed to a continuous, planned program of maintenance and improvement. The established standard of excellence will always be maintained. For these reasons our residents enjoy an excellent quality of life and the confidence and reassurance that comes from the strength and range of resources that the Group has available. Yet each individual home is of a size which enables our care and attention to be devoted to individuals and to create a homely rather than an institutional setting. The personal services available to residents are extensive from Primary Nursing, which provides individualized nursing care for every resident, through to laundry services, hairdressing and chiropody.
Such services are in addition to personal professional services each resident may retain as they wish - for example General Practitioner, Dentist, Solicitor, Accountant and Investment Advisor. Residents may consult with them within the privacy of their home whenever they wish.
The social life is rich in interest both 'at home' and in visits to the many events and beauty spots for which the Lake District is renowned. We have a very high staff to resident ratio and offer Primary Nursing in all our Nursing Homes. Our staff have been carefully selected for their personal qualities as much as for their professional qualifications. We believe that the retirement years should be enjoyed in comfort, with dignity and independence, be rich in interest and free from anxiety.
We have sought in every respect to create a 'family circle' environment offering many of the virtues and advantages of one's own home, while discreetly offering the professional support and attention as required by each individual. Our Primary Nursing System enables a recognised, registered nurse to ensure the personal continuity of care for each individual resident.
